Quality control is where Rophone separates itself from cheap video card suppliers. Every screen greeting card custom printed order passes an 8-point QC checklist before it leaves our Dongguan factory. Here is exactly what we test.
Each LCD screen is lit on a test jig for 30 seconds. Inspectors check for dead pixels, uneven backlight and color accuracy. Any screen with more than 2 dead pixels is rejected. We test both brightness and touch response on touchscreen models.
Cards are opened and closed 20 times on a folding machine. The spine must not crack or delaminate. Cover printing must not scratch at the fold. We check that the auto-play trigger sensor activates cleanly on every open.
Every card plays a test video at full volume. Inspectors listen for speaker distortion and check battery charge level. Cards below 80% charge go back to the charging rack. We verify the USB port charges at 5V/500mA. See the full electronic greeting card range for QC standards.
Random samples are dropped 1 meter onto a concrete floor corner-first. The card must still play after the drop. Packaging is drop-tested too. Master cartons are stacked 5 high to simulate sea freight conditions.
A QC inspector compares the printed cover against the approved artwork proof. Color, registration and finishing (foil, emboss, spot UV) are checked under a 5000K light. Each approved card gets a QC sticker on the back.
Rophone QC records are kept for 2 years per order. We share QC photos with bulk customers before shipment. Visit our screen greeting card custom printed page to discuss your project.
