1. Why Quality Control Matters for LCD Video Brochure Cards

A LCD video brochure card quality control process is critical because each card combines delicate electronics, a precision LCD screen and a premium paper casing. A single faulty card shipped to a trade show or client meeting can damage a brand's impression. At Rophone, every LCD video brochure card passes through a multi-stage QC process before leaving our 14,400 sqm factory. This ensures the electronic greeting card performs flawlessly on arrival.

2. Screen & Display Testing

Every LCD video brochure card goes through screen testing before assembly. Our QC team checks for dead pixels, color accuracy, brightness uniformity and touch sensitivity (where applicable). Each screen is played for 30 minutes on a test bench to catch early failures. This screen-level inspection is the first line of defense in the video brochure testing process and prevents defective panels from being assembled into finished cards.

3. Battery Burn-in & Power Testing

The battery is the most failure-prone component in a custom LCD video greeting card. Rophone performs a battery burn-in test: each card is fully charged, discharged, and recharged twice before approval. QC measures playback time, charging speed and USB current draw. Any card failing to meet the 60-minute playback minimum is rejected. This power-level QC ensures the card works when your customer opens it.

4. Audio, USB & Housing Inspection

Audio quality is tested by playing the preloaded video at full volume and listening for distortion or muffled sound. USB ports are plugged and unplugged 50 times to verify connectivity and data transfer. The paper housing is inspected for print alignment, color consistency, folding tolerance and surface finish. At this stage, the video brochure card QC team also verifies that custom branding, foil stamping and embossing match the approved artwork.

5. Drop Test & Final Packaging

A random sample from every production batch undergoes a drop test: the finished card is dropped from 80cm onto a hardwood surface. The screen must remain intact, the battery must hold charge and the housing must not crack. Final packaging inspection ensures each card is wrapped in protective film, inserted into a polybag and packed in a 5-layer export carton. This final QC step protects the video card during international shipping.
