Cardboard Picture Book tells the story of a white wolf who embarks on a journey in search of his most important friend, the reindeer. The ending is that after a long journey, the white wolf discovered that the reindeer had been killed by poachers, and was found and made into a skeleton, which will be permanently displayed in the Natural History Museum.

Inspired by the oversized whale skeleton of the Natural History Museum in London, what would he look like when he was alive, where did he come from, and would there be any groups and friends who care about him, but the skeleton would not answer.

This Cardboard Picture Book is based on this. Although the flesh will be worn by the years, there will always be love and friendship that will be deeply remembered.

The little animals help the girl out of her grief. In the end, the girl finds out that her grandmother's love has never left her and accepts the fact that her grandmother has gone.

6. Appreciation of Ren Xueqing's Cardboard Picture Book illustrations

6.1. Introduction of Ren Xueqing and his Cardboard Picture Book:

I am Ren Xueqing. I am a more introverted person, more delicate and sensitive, and very empathetic. During her childhood, her mother was seriously ill, and she was subjected to cold violence in high school and was marginalized.

During that difficult time of loneliness and helplessness, I kept using Cardboard Picture Book to record my mood and experiences, which helped me to overcome that difficult time. I think Cardboard Picture Book illustrations are a great way to express stories and emotions through drawing.

6.2. Ren Xueqing Cardboard Picture Book "May I live in your place"

This is my original Cardboard Picture Book. I hope that through this Cardboard Picture Book story, I can improve children's self-affirmation and prevent them from forming a pleasing personality. I was inspired by myself because I have a personable personality that makes me miserable in my social life, so I started focusing on these groups of people.

This story tells the protagonist ruby, in order to no longer be lonely, constantly destroying his house with a magic scarf to adapt to different villages, destroying his house to be neither like other people's houses nor his own house. In the end, he found a suitable village, repaired his own house, and learned not to change himself to suit others. Geographical belonging is used as a metaphor for psychological belonging.

When Jasmine accidentally smashed the "big monster"'s favorite mushroom lamp, Jasmine did not escape her fault, nor was she overly fearful of the big monster, she bravely stretched out her little hand and touched the monster's nose to appease him. It turned out that the nose was the button of the "big monster", Jasmine pressed the button by mistake, and what was hidden inside this mechanical monster was actually a cute and timid bunny!
